A roti is a common meal in many Indian homes. It goes well with daal, veggies, aachars, and a myriad of other dishes. Although we usually prepare rotis at home, have you ever pondered how they are manufactured in large quantities in a factory? A recently viral video demonstrates the factory method of cooking rotis.
The Instagram user @foodiehat posted the video. When it opens, a man is using a machine to blend wheat with water. After the basic dough is ready, it is flattened and used to cut little rotis. These rotis are then placed on a machine to cook.
