There have been a lot of complaints lately about train crowding. Many rail users have taken to social media to document the “dire” state of trains, which have been tarnished by overcrowding and people riding without tickets taking up seats. In a related incident, a user on X shared a video of people traveling on the Suhaildev Superfast Express without tickets crammed into the sleeper coach.
”Train number 22420 Koi bhi TT nhi aaya train Lucknow pahuchne wali hai Thank you railway SLEEPER CLASS KO GENERAL banana ke liye Maximum aadmi bina ticket ke ya general ticket hai (Sleeper class has become general coach, Most of the people are travelling without tickets while some have general tickets,” the tweet read.
In the video, the train coach is packed with passengers who are seen sitting on the floor. The train’s corridor was also congested, leaving little room for movement.

Railway Seva, the official customer care account of the Railways, responded to his post and asked him to share details.
”We request you to please share the journey details (PNR/UTS No.) and Mobile No. with us preferably via DM. You may also raise your concern directly on http://railmadad.indianrailways.gov.in or dial 139 for speedy redressal,” the response read.
This is a ”too common” situation in India, as many internet users have expressed their anger and frustration.
A passenger by the name of Rachit Jain had earlier related a harrowing tale about his sister’s journey in a three-tier air-conditioned coach. Mr. Jain recounted how his sister was unable to board the coach due to the intense crowding close to the doors. Her child was tragically abandoned on the platform after becoming separated from her in the confusion.
