A video of a heart-stopping skateboarding stunt has recently gone viral, leaving viewers both shocked and relieved. Adrenaline junkies often seek thrills through dangerous activities, but this particular incident highlights how quickly things can turn deadly.

In the viral footage, a young man is seen skateboarding down a road with a blue sedan closely following him. The car, equipped with a camera mounted on its front, captured the stunt. The skateboarder appears to be managing his balance initially, but disaster strikes when he hits a patch of uneven road. As he stumbles, he falls off his skateboard, narrowly avoiding being crushed by the car behind him.

The driver’s quick reflexes—braking just in time—spared the skateboarder’s life. If the car hadn’t slowed down in the nick of time, the situation could have ended in tragedy. The caption accompanying the video reads: “Yeah, I torched myself today, we get back up though.” The clip has since garnered an astounding 155 million views on Instagram.

Viewers reacted strongly to the video, with comments pouring in praising the driver’s quick thinking. One user wrote, “The driver needs a Grammy,” while another remarked, “Learning is a continuous process; you just have to stick to it.” Some highlighted the importance of wearing safety gear, noting that the skateboarder’s helmet may have saved his life. Another viewer observed, “Did anyone notice the uneven road due to which he fell?”

The chilling clip also shows the skateboarder’s hand barely avoiding the car’s front tyre. As he tried to halt his fall by dragging his hands along the ground, it became evident that the young man was very close to serious injury. Fortunately, it appears that he escaped with minor injuries, and the absence of other vehicles on the road also worked in his favour.

The skateboarder, identified as Cole Trotta, is no stranger to dangerous stunts. His social media is filled with videos of him performing various skateboarding tricks, often taking considerable risks to capture the perfect shot.

The close call serves as a stark reminder of the dangers involved in such activities. While adrenaline may drive some to push boundaries, safety precautions and quick thinking, like the driver’s in this case, are crucial in preventing tragic outcomes.
