The video was posted on X by Vishal, a product designer from Bengaluru, with the caption, “Spider-Man in JP Nagar.” The brief, four-second clip shows a man in a superhero costume riding as a pillion passenger in Bengaluru, complete with a helmet. When the two riders noticed they were being recorded, they gave a thumbs-up before continuing on their way.

Since being shared on May 21, the video has garnered over 6,800 views, and the count is still rising. Many viewers have commented on the post to share their thoughts.

In a related incident, a couple in Delhi was arrested after videos of them performing dangerous stunts while riding a bike went viral on social media. Aditya, 20, and Anjali, 19, performed stunts in southwest Delhi’s Najafgarh area. Aditya was dressed as Spider-Man, and Anjali as Spider-Woman.

The video shows the couple riding a Pulsar motorcycle in superhero costumes, without helmets or a number plate. They were also seen raising their hands while the vehicle was in motion. They face charges including riding without a helmet, license, and number plate, as reported by news agency IANS.

A senior police officer told PTI that an inquiry was conducted, and the riders were booked under various sections of the Motor Vehicle Act for offences such as riding without a helmet, without mirrors, without a license, dangerous driving, and not displaying a number plate.
