Tumkur: State Cooperation Minister KN Rajanna has renewed the call for the appointment of three Deputy Chief Ministers in Karnataka, following the Lok Sabha elections. Speaking in Tumkur, Rajanna highlighted the potential benefits for the party in upcoming local body elections. He mentioned that AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge had advised silence on the issue until after the elections, but Rajanna now plans to discuss it with Kharge personally.

Addressing rumors about Kharge entering state politics, Rajanna dismissed the possibility of Kharge or D.K. Shivakumar becoming Chief Minister, affirming that Siddaramaiah will continue in the role. He also expressed no objection to changes in district in-charge minister positions, indicating flexibility if needed.
