Udupi: The Kadiyali Matru Mandali celebrated its 41st annual mass Varamahalakshmi Puja with grandeur at the Sri Mahishamardini Temple, Kadiyali.
Under the guidance of Vedamurthy Padigaru Srinivas Tantri, the rituals were performed with precision and devotion. The deity Sridevi was adorned with special floral and ornamental decorations, while a kalash was ceremoniously placed within a beautifully crafted mandala. The day’s proceedings included mass Kumkum Archane, recitation of the Lalita Sahasranama, and the Maha Puja, invoking blessings of prosperity and well-being.
The occasion saw the participation of distinguished guests, including Udupi MLA Yash Pal Suvarna, temple managing board chairman Vijay Raghavendra, and writer Purnima Suresh Nayak, who joined devotees in the spiritual celebrations.
The event reflected the deep-rooted cultural and religious traditions of the community, drawing devotees together in a shared expression of faith.
