Udupi: Aura Art Class and Gallery is set to host its much-awaited ‘Aura Art Exhibition’ on June 29 and 30 at the first floor of A.V.A. Complex, Kunjibettu, Udupi. The announcement was made by Shailesh Kotian, lead instructor at the institution, during a recent press meet.

The exhibition will be inaugurated at 10 am on June 29 by Vinod Shetty, headmaster of Kunjibettu EMHS School. Narayana Swamy, Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department, will attend the event as the chief guest. The art show will be open to the general public from 9 am to 6 pm on both days.

In an age dominated by digital media, handmade art is slowly losing ground. To revive interest and appreciation for traditional hand-drawn artworks, the Aura Art Gallery will showcase original creations crafted with dedication and skill.

Art lovers will get to admire the work of Lakshmi Nayak, Sriraksha Karkera, Naveen Nayak, Rashmi Srikanth, Ambika Ganesh, Pallavi Sripathi, Poorna Prabhu, Purvi Aital, and Sriraksha Kotian—all associated with Aura.

Artists Naveen Nayak, Lakshmi Nayak, Poorna Prabhu, Purvi Aital, and Ambika Ganesh also attended the press conference, sharing insights on the upcoming display.

This exhibition offers an opportunity to reconnect with the timeless essence of handmade paintings, serving as a vibrant platform for local artists to shine.
