A shocking accident unfolded near Chirekal in Sullia when a car lost control and crashed onto the roof of a house situated in a low-lying area. Despite damage to the house, the woman driving the vehicle miraculously escaped unhurt.
The car, driven by the daughter-in-law of co-operative leader Nityananda Mundodi, was headed towards Guttigar when the incident occurred. Reports suggest that a water bottle got lodged beneath the brake pedal, preventing the driver from stopping the vehicle in time.
Both the car and the house sustained damage in the crash. A crane was later brought in to lift the vehicle from the roof.
