A private college bus carrying students to an NSS camp met with an accident near Shettipalu in Hallihole village after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
The bus was on its way to Sulagodu School in Hallihole village, where the NSS camp was being conducted.
Minor injuries reported
According to initial reports, the students on board sustained only minor injuries and are said to be out of danger. The front portion of the bus suffered visible damage in the mishap.
Local residents rushed to the spot and assisted in ensuring the safety of the students before authorities arrived.
