Udupi: In a swift response to a recent cattle theft, Kundapur police arrested four individuals on August 1 for stealing cattle near Kalavara Junction, Kundapur taluk.
The accused have been identified as Abubakar (39), Mohammed Rafiq (36), and Yakub (24) — all residents of Gulwadi, along with Sunil (33) from Tallur Kote Barega.
Police have also seized a goods vehicle used in the crime, estimated to be worth ₹5 lakh. All four suspects were presented before the court following the arrest.
