Udupi: Residents of Pambur village, located under Belle Gram Panchayat in Kaup taluk, are gripped by fear after CCTV footage captured leopards prowling near residential areas, including the courtyard of a house.
The footage has sparked widespread concern, especially among families with children and elderly members. Locals are now reluctant to leave their homes after dark, fearing an unexpected encounter with the wild animal.
With public anxiety rising, villagers have appealed to the Forest Department to take swift and decisive action to trap and safely relocate the leopards. They insist that immediate intervention is necessary to prevent potential danger and restore normalcy in the area.
