Udupi – The 37th birth anniversary of the younger Swamiji of Sri Puttige Math, Sushindratirtha Sripada, was marked with devotion and grandeur as a pearl-studded kavacha (armour) was dedicated to Lord Krishna at the renowned Sri Krishna Math.

The ornamented kavacha was brought in a vibrant procession, carried in a beautifully adorned palanquin, in the esteemed presence of both senior Puttige Mathadhis Sugunendratirtha Sripada and junior Swamiji Sushindratirtha Sripada.

The celebrations began with the younger Swamiji offering early morning puja to Lord Krishna. Known for his deep devotion and artistic flair in daily decorative worship, the younger Sri has captured the hearts of devotees throughout the ongoing festival.

As part of the special occasion, the pearl kavacha was ceremonially offered to the deity by the revered Adamaru Math Swamiji Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Sripada, amidst the spiritual presence of Sugunendra Theertha Sripada. The younger Swamiji conducted the decorative puja and aarti, followed by the Mahapuja and Archana performed by the senior Swamiji.

The event brought together spiritual grandeur, artistic beauty, and devotional energy, leaving devotees in awe.
