Udupi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor-politician C. Joseph Vijay is scheduled to visit the renowned Kollur Mookambika Temple in Byndoor taluk of Udupi district on Friday as part of a private spiritual visit. Vijay became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in May 2026 and is expected to offer special prayers at the temple during his visit.

According to sources, the Chief Minister is expected to arrive at Kollur at around 3 pm and seek the blessings of Goddess Mookambika. Temple authorities and local officials have made necessary arrangements in view of the VVIP visit, while security has been strengthened in and around the temple premises.
