A tragic accident occurred near the Udyavara petrol pump, where a tourist minibus carrying a group from Andhra Pradesh collided with a stationary lorry parked along the roadside. The tourists were traveling to Kollur Temple on a pilgrimage when the minibus hit the lorry from behind.
Several passengers suffered severe injuries, and the minibus sustained partial damage. The Kaup police, under whose jurisdiction the accident falls, have initiated an investigation into the incident.
