Udupi: On the auspicious occasion of the birth star of Puttige Sri, a golden prabhavali with a universal background was offered to Sri Krishna at Paryaga Puttige Math on August 30. The ceremonial event was led by Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada, head of the Math, as part of the planned rituals to mark the celebration.

The ornate prabhavali was received with great reverence in a traditional procession along Rathbidi Street before being brought inside the Math for the offering.

Spiritual leaders and disciples participate

The occasion saw the presence of Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada, younger Sushindhra Theertha Sripada, Math Diwan Nagaraja Acharya, International Secretary Prasannacharya, and several disciples of the Math, who joined in the celebrations.
