The Udupi tourism department is gearing up to introduce three exciting projects for the upcoming tourist season. Assistant Director Kumar CU revealed that paramotoring will debut at Kaup Beach, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea from heights of 150-200 feet. A private operator has been licensed to manage this thrilling adventure, with prices to be decided as the season starts.
At Trasi Maravanthe Beach, sky dining will be introduced, allowing guests to enjoy meals 60-70 feet in the air, with views of the beach, river, and Kodachadri hills. Supported by a crane, this unique dining experience will accommodate up to 16 people at a time. Prices will vary based on the chosen menu, and the project is set to launch in the next 20 days.
Additionally, Padubidri Blue Flag Beach is expected to introduce eco-friendly solar-powered and electric tourist boats, along with sea kayaking and surfing. Water sports are likely to resume based on favorable weather conditions.
