An unidentified body was discovered in Kudur Nest, Padu Thonse, near Kemmannu, on October 17. Preliminary investigations have identified the deceased as Balu Naik.
Local residents Alwyn, Haridas, Nikhil, and Satya assisted in retrieving the body, which was in a decomposed state. Social worker Nityananda Volakadu played a crucial role in transporting the remains to the district hospital for further examination.
Assistant sub-inspectors Vishwanath and Nagaraj from the Malpe police station arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. Further details surrounding the incident are yet to be confirmed by the police.
