Udupi: In response to the alleged conspiracy and propaganda against Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) organized a chanting program of the Shiva Panchakshari mantra – “Om Namah Shivaya” at the historic Anantheswara Temple in Udupi.
The chanting was performed after special prayers before the deity. Addressing the gathering, VHP leader Sunil K.R. said, “A well-planned conspiracy is being carried out against Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala. Many are involved in spreading false propaganda. Such acts against a sacred shrine, which is revered by millions of Hindus, must be dealt with firmly, and the guilty should be punished.”
He further stated that to counter this negative campaign, VHP has launched a two-day statewide chanting program aimed at restoring peace, strengthening faith among devotees of Lord Manjunatha, and reinforcing devotion.
