Kyiv: According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a Russian-guided air bomb struck a blood transfusion centre in northeastern Ukraine. The incident occurred in the Kupiansk community of the Kharkiv region on Saturday night, and rescuers are currently working to extinguish the resulting fire, as reported by the BBC.
Zelensky expressed his determination to defeat the terrorists responsible for the attack, emphasizing that it is a matter of honour for all who value life. As of now, Russia has not issued a public statement regarding the reported attack.
Taking to social media, Zelensky condemned the perpetrators as “beasts” who seek to destroy everything essential for human existence. He characterized the incident as a clear indication of Russian aggression. However, he did not provide details about the number of casualties or injuries resulting from the attack.
