On Tuesday evening, four individuals, including three members of the same family, were injured in two separate bee attack incidents in Bhatkal taluk. All injured were initially treated at Bhatkal Government Hospital, with one elderly woman later moved to the ICU due to critical injuries.
In the Jali Kodi area, a family was attacked by a swarm of bees that suddenly entered their home. The injured include 70-year-old Mastamma Manjappa Naik, whose condition is serious, along with 37-year-old Janki Naik and 45-year-old Suresh Naik. In a separate incident in Shirali Bangarmakki, 55-year-old Ganapati Manjjaya Naik was stung by bees while heading to the market.
