Bhatkal: A half-day teacher training workshop titled “Creating a Positive Classroom” took place on October 29 at the AITM seminar hall, organized by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal. The workshop, led by Dr. Ananth Prabhu G from Mangalore, aimed to equip educators with modern teaching methods and strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
Approximately 60 teachers from various Anjuman high schools participated in the workshop, which covered essential topics such as classroom management, effective communication skills, technology integration, and assessment techniques. These areas are crucial for enhancing teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
The event commenced with a welcome note by Senior Professor Mushtaq Bavikatte, who outlined the workshop’s objectives and the importance of creating supportive classroom atmospheres. Aftab Husain Kola introduced Dr. Prabhu, highlighting his expertise and contributions to educational practices. As a token of appreciation, Secretary Sadullah Ruknuddin presented Dr. Prabhu with a memento, acknowledging his efforts in empowering teachers and promoting innovative teaching methodologies.
