Vijayapura: A 22-year-old man, Rohit Pawar, from Kambara Oni in Vijayapura city, was found murdered near the APMC Goat and Sheep Market.
Rohit’s body was discovered in bushes with signs of a brutal attack. A beer bottle and a packet of chips found near the scene suggest he may have been with someone he knew before the crime.
Authorities suspect Rohit was killed by an acquaintance.
His friend, Khalid, informed Rohit’s family about his death and then disappeared, adding to the mystery surrounding the incident.
The APMC Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the murder.
