5-year-old sets an example, donates piggybank for Chennai flood victims

A five-year-old girl handed over her piggybank to Collector Jayshree Kiyawat so that the money she had saved could be used for the relief operation of flood victims in Chennai.
Anahita Rathore student of Camelia kids school in Shregarh, along with his parents and teachers reached the Collectorate and donated her savings of Rs 6,738 to the collector.

Since past few months, Anahita had been saving her pocket money and on Wednesday, she donated the entire saving to the chennai flood relief fund.
Father Anahita,  Saumendra Singh  Rathore said his young daughter first spelt out her urge to donate money for flood victims after learning about the incident.

While making the donation, she said she wanted to help too. She used to keep aside small amounts of money from whatever we used to give her as pocket money,” said Saumendra.

Later the school administration also collected money and donated for the flood victims along with the villagers.
