Class 11 student turns to printing fake currency notes to pay school fee

Uttar Pradesh: Rinku wanted to study further but he had no money to pay his fees. Frustrated, he decided to set foot into the crime world by joining a fake currency racket in Bareilly. Rinku is a class 11 student and wanted to pay his fees by committing the crime.

Police on Wednesday arrested Rinku, his friend Shiva for allegedly printing Rs 100 currency notes using scanner and printer.

While, the third accused Arjun Masih is absconding.

Acting on a tip off, Subhash Nagar police conducted a raid and arrested Rinku and Shiva. Police have also recovered Rs 6500 fake currency notes.

According to police, the accused confessed that they used to sell Rs 100 note in Rs 35 in the market. Police have also seized scanner and printer from the the Avas Vikas colony residence of prime accused Arjun Masih.
