Madhya Pradesh: In yet another case of ‘intolerance’, a couple was thrashed inside a train over suspicion of carrying beef in Madhya Pradesh.
Reportedly, the incidence took place two days ago when a local gau rakshak samiti, acting on a tip-off, had beaten up a couple travelling in a train.
On Wednesday, during search, the members of the samiti spotted the couple and behaved ill-mannerly with them inside the train alleging that they are carring beef. Later, it was made clear in the tests that it was not beef but meat.
Meanwhile, according to media reports, two members of the samiti have been arrested while the search for other five accused is still on.
