Kolkata: Virat Kohli’s Team India completed a sensational 50-run victory over Australia in the second ODI in Kolkata on Thursday, thanks to brilliant knocks from Virat Kohli himself and Ajinkya Rahane, and in return a spectacular hat-trick from young spinner Kuldeep Yadav, which won the match for India.
India’s wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who had a below-par show with the bat, was at it again behind the wickets, as he quickly stumped Glenn Maxwell, who went back after scoring 14 runs.
It was a tossed up delivery to the leg-stump by spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, and after Maxwell failed to defend it, it was Dhoni who blew the stumps way, sending off the Aussie big-hitter before he could make it back in time.
