Chhattisgarh: A mehndi ceremony was organised on Friday night as a part of pre-marriage ritual of a woman Naxal who had surrendered few days back in Jagdalpur police control room. Later, on Saturday the marriage was performed.
The Naxal couple’s marriage was a big affair for which the police department has done all the preparations.
On December 29, 2015 23 Naxals including this couple had surrendered before the police and eventually fell in love during the trial.
According to the police, both of them had expressed their desire to get married to each other before the officials.
The marriage was performed based on the rituals.
