Canada: Canadian authorities have released images of two individuals believed to be responsible for the vandalism of the Sri Krishna Brundavana Temple in Georgetown, part of the Greater Toronto Area. The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is actively investigating the incident, which occurred in the early hours of March 30 at 1:10 am.

According to the official statement, security footage shows the two suspects—both wearing hooded sweatshirts—leaving a pub in the downtown area and walking toward the temple located on Main Street South. Once there, the men were seen ripping down and damaging a signboard at the temple’s entrance.

One of the individuals is clearly seen grabbing the sign, breaking it, and flinging a piece into the parking lot, while the second suspect remains on the sidewalk, laughing, as the act of destruction unfolds.

Members of the temple discovered the damage on Sunday morning. Disturbed by the deliberate act, they handed over the surveillance footage to the police, which captured clear images of the perpetrators. HRPS has now released those visuals and is urging anyone with information—or those who may have witnessed anything suspicious near the temple around the time of the incident—to come forward immediately.

Anyone with tips can contact Halton Police or submit information anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

Respect for places of worship is a cornerstone of any diverse society—vandalism like this undermines community harmony.
