A video capturing a man’s inflammatory remarks on a UK train has ignited massive backlash online. In the clip, the man, appearing intoxicated, claims, “Indians belong to England” and “We returned India to Indians,” directing his rant toward a woman who identifies as the daughter of an Indian immigrant.
Gabrielle Forsyth, who originally shared the footage on X, later deleted it, citing relentless online harassment. Despite this, the video has circulated across multiple platforms, drawing widespread condemnation.
The clip shows the man filming himself while discussing immigration, with a female companion beside him, seemingly embarrassed, attempting to conceal her face.
Social media erupted in outrage. Some users demanded that the man be identified and dismissed from his job, while others called for public exposure of his actions. “Why isn’t anyone shutting him up?” one person fumed, while another remarked, “Let him speak and expose his own ignorance.”
Forsyth explained that after posting the video, she was flooded with hateful messages, which led to her decision to remove it. However, she later confirmed that the man had been identified, and she planned to report him to law enforcement.
“I’m taking this to the police. If people could stop piling on, that’d be great. I’m exhausted,” she wrote.
The incident continues to fuel discussions on racism, accountability, and social media justice.
