On Tuesday night (ET), Florida’s skies dazzled in red and blue hues as hundreds of drones lit up to honour US President Donald Trump’s achievements. The aerial spectacle featured animated visuals of the American flag, Trump’s silhouette, and the US map, delivering bold praises and patriotic flair.
The event began poetically, proclaiming:
“A new golden age for America,
A new golden age for peace,
A new golden age for hope.”
Throughout the show, Trump was hailed as a “historic President,” “world’s best deal maker,” “world’s best peacemaker,” and even as “liberator of hostages” and “defender of freedom.” Messages urged unity against hatred, antisemitism, and terrorism, before concluding with a glowing “Thank you, President Trump.” Notably, the drone display included Trump’s signature YMCA dance, a staple of his rallies.
Trump popularized the Village People’s “YMCA” after recovering from COVID-19, playing it at campaign events and anti-lockdown rallies, especially in Michigan. The song, long linked to LGBTQ culture, created an ironic contrast with some of Trump’s conservative, anti-LGBTQ supporters.
Post his January 2025 inauguration for a second term, Trump swiftly signed 89 executive orders—one of the highest by any president. His directives focused on border control, deporting criminal immigrants, boosting American prosperity, cutting federal expenses, tightening USAID funds, enforcing merit-based hiring, and promoting government transparency.
