On February 6, 2025, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon officially announced his much-anticipated world tour, ‘Übermensch’, on Instagram. This tour follows the announcement of his third solo album, set to release on February 25, 2025. While the concert dates remain undisclosed, he assured fans that more details would be revealed soon.

This tour marks his grand return to the stage since his last solo performance in October 2017. Fans are eager to hear whether ‘Home Sweet Home,’ a collaboration with bandmates Taeyang and Daesung, will be part of the album, along with ‘Power,’ his 2024 single.

While many fans are celebrating his return, the album’s title and font choice have sparked controversy. Some users expressed discomfort, pointing out that the font closely resembles Nazi-era typography. One fan wrote, “Calling it Übermensch is one thing, but the font choice? It’s unsettling.” Another commented, “It’s like taking something from World War II Japan and touring through Korea. Research matters.”

Despite the debate, many continue to support G-Dragon, emphasizing his global influence and impact on K-pop. “Übermensch may not be the best name internationally, but go G-Dragon!” said one fan.
