A significant blaze swept through a residential high-rise complex in Greater Noida West during the morning hours on Thursday. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at Gaur City 2, located at 16th Avenue, to contain the fire outbreak in the Greater Noida vicinity.
“The cause of the fire remains unidentified at present; however, fire department units have been deployed to the scene. The situation is now under control,” stated the Fire Department. Officials further assured that there were no reported casualties resulting from the incident in Greater Noida.
Footage released depicted residents evacuating the high-rise building, seeking refuge from the thick smoke that engulfed the premises.

In a parallel occurrence, a fire erupted at an incense stick manufacturing facility situated in the Kavi Nagar Industrial Area of Ghaziabad on the preceding day, with no reported casualties, according to authorities.
Additionally, on Tuesday, a tragic incident unfolded in the Kakori region of Uttar Pradesh, where an explosion of LPG cylinders claimed the lives of five family members and left four others injured.
“A short circuit resulted in the explosion of two cylinders at a residence in Karokri’s Hata Hazrat Saheb Kasba, causing injuries to a total of nine individuals, including three children,” stated the Lucknow police on Wednesday. Presently, four individuals remain hospitalized, undergoing treatment for their injuries.
