Speaking on behalf of the Gaza Health Ministry, Ashraf Al Quadra urged international organizations to step in right away and put an end to Israel’s aggression in Gaza on Thursday.
The spokesman stated that the Israeli military’s aggression must be stopped immediately in order to protect the medical staff, hospitals, and patients.
According to him, there are a lot of injured people at the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza. Some of the patients have been moved to the maternity center, and some patients have been moved from the maternity center to a nearby private clinic.
According to Quadra, pregnant patients’ and medical professionals’ lives are in jeopardy because the Israeli military is bombing even the maternity center.
He stated that a fuel shortage will cause the Al Shifa Hospital’s electrical generator to shut down in a matter of hours.
In an effort to save the lives of the injured and wounded patients, he made a plea to the nations that produce oil to step in right away and provide fuel to the Al-Shifa hospital complex.
Quadra said that 42 children are currently under life support in incubators at the hospital while 62 are injured and under respiratory support in the hospital.
He said that 650 people are suffering from kidney failure while scores are on life supporting systems.
