In a heartbreaking incident, 23-year-old Aryan Reddy, a student from Hyderabad, lost his life in an accidental gun shooting while celebrating his birthday in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 13. Aryan, a second-year MS student at Kansas State University, had recently purchased a hunting gun. While cleaning the weapon during his birthday celebrations, it accidentally discharged, fatally wounding him in the chest.
Hearing the gunshot, his friends rushed to his room and found Aryan lying in a pool of blood. Despite their efforts to rush him to a nearby hospital, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Aryan’s family, originally from Bhuvanagiri, currently resides in Dharmapuri Colony, Uppal. They are devastated by the tragic loss of their son, who had traveled to the United States to pursue higher education and fulfill his dreams.
Aryan’s body is expected to be repatriated to Hyderabad on Friday. His death has sparked a wave of grief among his relatives, friends, and the student community.
