External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar engaged in fruitful discussions with UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his visit to Abu Dhabi, focusing on the strengthening of India-UAE comprehensive strategic ties and key regional and global issues.
Before their meeting, Minister Jaishankar visited the iconic BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi and joined the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations. Reflecting on these events, he highlighted the temple as a significant symbol of friendship between India and the UAE.

The visit underscored the broad spectrum of the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the UAE, which includes a substantial Indian expatriate community and recent agreements like the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed in February 2022.
