A credit card collection agent has filed a complaint with Madhura Nagar police, alleging that a customer instructed his pet dog to attack him during a payment visit.
According to reports, the accused, Nandivardhan, a private employee from Jawaharnagar, owed nearly Rs 2 lakh on his credit card. Despite numerous reminders from the finance company, he failed to clear the dues.
Satyanarayana, the assigned collection agent, recently visited Nandivardhan’s home to recover the overdue amount. When Satyanarayana requested payment, Nandivardhan refused to respond.
Shockingly, Nandivardhan allegedly ordered his dog to chase and bite Satyanarayana. The dog attacked and inflicted multiple bite wounds on the agent’s legs and abdomen. Disturbingly, Nandivardhan made no attempt to stop the animal.
Following the complaint, Madhura Nagar police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
This unusual and violent episode has left the collection community rattled, highlighting the risks agents face while recovering debts.
