The reasons behind the woman’s erratic conduct remain unclear. In footage circulating online, law enforcement officers are observed attempting to restrain her, with the woman vehemently protesting. Amidst the scuffle, she loudly declares her concerns for freedom and shows defiance towards being arrested, claiming previous experience with such situations.

During the altercation, the woman asserts that the officers are causing her harm, prompting distressing cries. While some bystanders are heard reacting with amusement, the situation escalates when the woman invokes the name of George Floyd, shouting that she cannot breathe. Subsequently, passengers were required to disembark the plane to allow authorities to manage the situation.
Spirit Airlines has garnered negative attention in the past due to similar incidents. In a previous occurrence from December, a passenger’s disruptive behavior led to an altercation during deplaning. Similarly, a viral video from last year showcased a pregnant passenger assaulting a Spirit Airlines staff member. Additionally, in 2023, footage emerged of an airline worker seemingly using tape to make repairs on a Spirit Airlines plane, causing concern among passengers.
