“I Will Dance In Wheelchair”: Woman at PM Modi’s Abu Dhabi Event

Abu Dhabi: Despite using a wheelchair, she claims she doesn’t care and is just going to have fun. The aged lady traveled from Dubai to take part in the ‘Ahlan Modi’ (Hello, Modi) celebration in Abu Dhabi.

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Abu Dhabi today, he was met with a thunderous reception. President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan greeted the prime minister. The two leaders gave each other hugs and handshakes.

“My love for my nation stems from my love for Bharat. I have lived here for 48 years, and dil is Hindustani. In response to a question about her motivation, the woman in a wheelchair told , “So knee surgery and all is khali vali (not important) and I don’t care.”

“From two days I was thinking what to wear… See my nails, my rings, my bindi, my scarf, everything, total Hindustani,” she added underscoring her point.

PM Modi is set to address the Indian diaspora at “Ahlan Modi” event. Organised by the Indian community in Abu Dhabi, the event has gathered unprecedented attention, with over 65,000 registrations, reflecting the overwhelming response from the Indian expatriate community.

“I will enjoy. I will dance in wheelchair, no problem,” the woman told , flashing a big smile.

With 3.5 million members, the Indian expat community is the largest ethnic group in the United Arab Emirates, making up approximately 35% of the total population.

Jitendra Vaidya, the leader of the ‘Ahlan Modi’ initiative and president of the Indian People Forum, expressed his excitement and anticipation for the historic occasion.

“People are already waiting at each gate of this stadium even though our gates have not yet opened. “I can assure you that ‘Ahlan Modi’ will be regarded as a historic occasion anytime people recall a public appearance by Prime Minister Modi outside of the nation,” he told a news agency.
