Nandini Agrawal, from Morena in Madhya Pradesh, has etched her name in history by becoming the youngest female Chartered Accountant in the world, a distinction now officially recognised by the Guinness World Records. At just 19 years and 330 days, she surpassed her peers, many of whom were still preparing for college, by acing one of India’s most challenging professional exams.
Nandini’s academic journey has been exceptional. She skipped two grades, completing her 10th grade at 13 and her 12th grade at 15. Inspired by a Guinness World Record holder who visited her school, she set out to break a record of her own, fueling her ambition.
However, Nandini’s path wasn’t without obstacles. At 16, she faced resistance when seeking an apprenticeship, with many firms reluctant to take her on due to her age. But her determination and focus never wavered. In 2021, Nandini not only cleared the CA final exam but topped it nationally, scoring 614 out of 800 and securing the All India Rank 1.
A significant part of Nandini’s success was the unwavering support from her elder brother, Sachin Agrawal, who was also preparing for the CA exams. They studied together, motivated one another, and both achieved impressive results—while Nandini claimed the top spot, Sachin secured 18th rank in the same exam.
