Miami: July 20, A fatal shooting occurred at a Walmart store in Florida, resulting from a heated argument between two groups of people, as stated by Detective Alvaro Zabaleta, a Miami-Dade police spokesperson.
The incident took place on Wednesday at the Walmart located in Florida City, where three individuals from each group were involved in a quarrel. At around 3 p.m., the argument escalated into a physical altercation, during which one of the men pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Tragically, a bystander shopping in the store was also shot in the foot. The injured men were taken to Jackson South Medical Center, where one of them, involved in the initial fight, succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have arrested one person in connection with the incident and are currently searching for five other suspects. Detective Zabaleta clarified that this was an isolated incident and not an active shooter situation. As of now, the identities of the victim, the arrested person, and the five suspects remain unknown.
