Eagle Pass: A seven-year-old Honduran boy was rescued from drowning in the Rio Grande river between the US and Mexico, by Border Patrol agents. This dramatic rescue was captured on photographs and is doing the rounds.
As reported by the San Antonio Express-News on Wednesday, four adults and five children were trying to cross the perilous river in inflatable kiddie pools near the Eagle Pass, Texas, when the incident occurred. The pools capsized and the group plunged into the river. Border Patrol agents spotted the group and pressed into action, pulling the group out of the water and taking them into custody.
Recently, one adult and three children, who were trying to cross the same river, were swept away. All four are presumed to be dead.
