Warsaw: A Polish military aircraft crashed during an airshow rehearsal in Gdynia, northern Poland, resulting in the death of the pilot, media reports indicated.
The aircraft involved in the crash was the M-346 Master, also known as Bielik in the Polish military. This Italian-designed, two-seat, twin-engine aircraft is used for advanced flight training. According to Xinhua news agency, the pilot on board was one of the two most experienced pilots for this aircraft in Poland.
