Pakistani influencer Imsha Rehman has spoken out for the first time about the viral tiktok video that led to her disappearance from social media. In an interview with Nukta Pakistan, she called the alleged leak “fake” and revealed how it turned her life upside down.
“When I saw the video, it felt like my life was over. I can’t go to university, I can’t face people, and I am receiving death threats,” she said. Imsha chose to remain silent on social media and instead took legal action to find those responsible.
Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested Abdul Aziz in connection with the case. Officials confirmed he was traced using IP logs, though Aziz claims he only shared a meme, not the video. Imsha’s lawyer, Hadi Ali Chatha, emphasized the serious consequences of spreading such false content, urging victims to come forward and seek justice.
Social activist Mehnaz Parveen has called this case an “eye-opener,” highlighting the dangers of social media, especially for young women.
