Youth Injured in Gunfire Near Belagavi Milk Union Dairy

A 31-year-old youth, Praneetkumar, was injured in a shooting incident near the Belagavi Milk Union Limited dairy at Anjenaya Nagar on Wednesday night. The incident occurred when Praneetkumar, a resident of Dwarka Nagar, Tilakwadi, was standing near the dairy for dinner. Two individuals on a bike fired two rounds at him and fled the scene.

Praneetkumar sustained bullet injuries to his legs and was rushed to the Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences District Hospital for treatment. Preliminary reports suggest the attack was due to a personal feud.

Police Commissioner Iada Martin Marbaniang, along with other police officials, visited the hospital to gather information about the incident. The Mal-Maruti police are investigating the case, and further details are awaited.
