New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki has revealed the complete variant-wise pricing of the 2026 Baleno facelift, with the premium hatchback now priced from ₹5.99 lakh to ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest price list comes shortly after the model’s launch, with the base Sigma variant now ₹11,000 cheaper than the introductory price announced earlier.
The updated Baleno is offered in five variants — Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha and Alpha (O) — with petrol and CNG powertrain options. Petrol variants are available with manual and AMT gearboxes, while CNG versions are offered with a manual transmission.

The exact ex-showroom prices are ₹5,98,900 for Sigma and ₹9,99,900 for the top-end Alpha (O) AMT.
Base price is lower than launch price
When Maruti Suzuki launched the updated Baleno, it announced an introductory starting price of ₹6.09 lakh. The subsequently released complete price list puts the Sigma variant at ₹5.98 lakh, making the effective starting price ₹11,000 lower than the earlier announced figure.
The price revision gives the updated hatchback a more competitive entry point in the premium hatchback segment.
The Baleno continues to compete with models such as the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and Toyota Glanza.
Five variants offered
The 2026 Baleno is available in five trims. The Sigma serves as the entry-level variant, while the new Alpha (O) sits above the Alpha as the range-topping trim.
The Delta and Zeta variants offer the widest choice of powertrains, with petrol manual, petrol AMT and CNG manual configurations available. The Alpha and Alpha (O) are offered only with petrol powertrains.
The petrol AMT versions carry a ₹50,000 premium over their corresponding manual variants across the Delta, Zeta, Alpha and Alpha (O) trims.
Meanwhile, the CNG versions of the Delta and Zeta cost ₹92,500 more than their respective petrol-manual versions.
New 1.2-litre petrol engine
One of the biggest changes in the facelifted Baleno is its new 1.2-litre Z-Series naturally aspirated petrol engine.
The updated powertrain has been introduced alongside changes aimed at improving efficiency. The engine is offered with both manual and AMT transmission options.
The CNG version also uses the 1.2-litre engine and is offered with a manual gearbox. The addition of CNG gives buyers another fuel option, particularly for customers prioritising running costs.
Baleno gets Level 2 ADAS
The 2026 Baleno facelift also receives a major safety upgrade with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The updated model is positioned as the first hatchback in the B2 segment to receive this level of driver-assistance technology. The system adds several active safety and driver-support functions to the car.
The top variants also receive additional technology and convenience features, helping Maruti Suzuki position the Baleno more strongly against newer rivals in the segment.

The newly introduced Alpha (O) is now the range-topping Baleno variant.
Priced at ₹9.50 lakh with the petrol manual and ₹10 lakh with the petrol AMT, it carries a ₹40,000 premium over the corresponding Alpha variants.
The addition of this variant allows Maruti Suzuki to offer its most comprehensive equipment package at the top of the Baleno range.

With prices starting at ₹5.99 lakh, the 2026 Baleno continues to sit in one of the most competitive sections of India’s passenger car market.
The top-spec model reaches ₹9.99 lakh, keeping the hatchback within the ₹10 lakh ex-showroom bracket. This places the Baleno against established rivals while giving buyers multiple choices across petrol, AMT and CNG configurations.
