Keeway K300 SF Launched in India: A Powerful and Affordable Sportbike
Keeway, the Hungarian motorcycle maker, has introduced the K300 SF in India, priced at an attractive Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 100 customers. The K300 SF shares similarities with its predecessor, the K300N, but comes with a lower price tag, making it an appealing option for Indian buyers.
Powerful Engine and Performance
The K300 SF is powered by a 292.4-cc, DOHC, four-valve, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It delivers 27.5 hp at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, providing a smooth and responsive ride. The bike’s power is transferred through a 140/60-17 rear tyre, while the front tyre is a 110/70-17. The K300 SF is equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Design and Features
Weighing 151 kg and offering a 12.5-litre fuel tank capacity, the K300 SF is designed for agility and convenience. It also has a ground clearance of 150 mm. The bike features a non-adjustable 35-mm upside-down fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. The six-speed transmission and two riding modes add to its versatility, making it a strong contender in its segment.
The K300 SF is available in three matte colour options: white, black, and red, with the matte black option particularly appealing. Small design details, such as the single-sided tyre hugger and underbelly exhaust, enhance its visual appeal.
