New Delhi: Land Rover has launched the exclusive Range Rover SV Sawai Collection in India, with prices starting at ₹4.90 crore (ex-showroom). Inspired by the architectural heritage and cultural identity of three cities in Rajasthan, the special collection is limited to just 18 vehicles worldwide.
The collection comprises three editions – Sawai Jaipur, Sawai Jodhpur and Sawai Jaisalmer – with six units allocated to each version. Developed under the Range Rover Bespoke personalisation programme, the editions feature distinctive exterior colours, exclusive cabin themes and handcrafted details inspired by their respective cities.
Three editions inspired by Rajasthan
The Range Rover SV Sawai Collection celebrates the architectural character of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. Each edition reflects the colours, patterns and traditional craftsmanship associated with these destinations.
All three versions feature 23-inch Champagne alloy wheels, an Atlas Silver exterior pack and Range Rover branding with 24-karat gold-plated surrounds. Each vehicle also carries a personalised plaque displaying its edition name and ‘1 of 6’ marking, highlighting its exclusivity.
Sawai Jaipur Edition
Inspired by Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, the Sawai Jaipur Edition gets a rose-tinted exterior finish that reflects the terracotta-pink shades of the city’s historic architecture.
The cabin features an Ecru and Deep Garnet colour combination, complemented by Ebony seatbelts. The seat embroidery takes inspiration from the traditional Jharokha patterns seen in the iconic Hawa Mahal.
The steering wheel features Deep Garnet and Ebony leather, while white ceramic detailing adds to the bespoke interior finish.
Sawai Jodhpur Edition
The Sawai Jodhpur Edition draws inspiration from Jodhpur’s identity as the Blue City. It features a soft blue exterior shade and a cabin finished in Perlino and Riviera tones.
The seat embroidery is inspired by the intricate Jali patterns found in the city’s palaces and forts. The interior also features Liberty Blue carpets with matching leather-bound finishes, while the steering wheel gets Perlino leather and Ash Burr veneer accents.
Sawai Jaisalmer Edition
The Sawai Jaisalmer Edition celebrates the Golden City and its distinctive sandstone architecture. It features a satin golden exterior finish inspired by the changing shades of Jaisalmer’s historic buildings.
The cabin gets a Perlino and Caraway dual-tone theme. Seat embroidery combines elements of traditional artisanal block printing with architectural inspiration from Jaisalmer Fort. Matching interior detailing and Caraway-finished carpets further distinguish this edition.
Four-seat luxury cabin and powerful V8 engine
All 18 vehicles are based on the long-wheelbase Range Rover SV and come with a four-seat configuration designed to provide enhanced comfort for rear passengers.
The rear seats feature reclining functions, heating, cooling and massage facilities. The cabin also includes rear entertainment screens and fold-out tables, adding to the luxury experience.
Under the bonnet, the collection is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged petrol V8 engine that produces 537 hp and 750 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Third India-specific bespoke collection
The SV Sawai Collection marks the third India-specific special edition introduced by Range Rover, following the SV Ranthambore Edition and SV Masāra Edition.
Through its Bespoke personalisation programme, the company has increasingly incorporated Indian cultural and architectural influences into its exclusive vehicles. The latest collection brings together Rajasthan’s heritage and Range Rover’s luxury craftsmanship across three individually themed editions.
With a global production limit of just 18 vehicles and a starting price of ₹4.90 crore, the SV Sawai Collection is aimed at customers seeking exclusivity, personalised design and high-performance luxury.
