An 18-year-old girl was found hanging at her residence in Kurabarahalli, West Bengaluru, on Sunday. The Mahalakshmi Layout police have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the incident.
The girl, who lived with her parents in a rented home, was alone at the time as her parents, daily wage workers, were away. They discovered her body upon returning.
Authorities have sent the body for post-mortem and subsequently handed it over to the family.
