Incident details
According to the FIR filed under Bengaluru North Section 303 (theft), Neha Kushwah, who was travelling to Gwalior, placed her Titan wristwatch, valued at approximately ₹10,000, in a tray at the security check around 8.30 am. After clearing security, she discovered the watch was missing and immediately informed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) before continuing her journey.
Days later, CISF identified another passenger, Usha Gangadhar, as a suspected participant in the theft. Neha lodged a formal complaint with the airport police via email on August 24, and a probe into the matter is currently underway.
