Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse has relaunched its speciality restaurant, Glass Kitchen & Bar, unveiling a refreshed culinary concept centred on the southern coastline of India.

Titled ‘A Coast Apart’, the new menu presents a contemporary interpretation of coastal cuisine, blending traditional cooking methods with seasonal produce and modern plating styles. The concept brings together flavours from India’s diverse coastal regions, creating a refined yet authentic dining narrative.

A balanced blend of nostalgia and innovation

Shiv Bose, General Manager, said the relaunch gives Glass Kitchen & Bar a clear culinary identity aligned with evolving guest preferences.

Signature highlights include Tender Coconut Payasam Ice Cream, the thoughtfully curated ‘Amma’s Corner’, and Glass Special Starter Platters designed for shared dining. The menu, spearheaded by Chef Tirupathi and Chef Ajit, showcases regional favourites such as Lobster Mappas, Meen Pollichathu, Kuttu Paratha and Gongura Mamsam.

Executive Chef Ajit Tiwari noted that the aim was to craft a layered and immersive experience rooted in coastal traditions while maintaining contemporary finesse.

Curated beverage experience

Complementing the cuisine is a refreshed beverage programme curated by Kuldeep Bhure, Food & Beverage Manager. The cocktail selection, titled ‘Madya Mix’, features creations such as Coorg’s Paradise, Bangalore Blossom and Memories by Glass — designed to harmonise with the coastal flavours.

With ‘A Coast Apart’, Glass Kitchen & Bar positions itself as a distinctive destination for coastal gastronomy in the city, blending heritage, flavour and refined hospitality under one roof.
